Japan lures tourists with attractive services
If you are traveling to Japan, enjoy the free Wi-Fi service at the airport.
And to get your free ID and password for a Wi-Fi connection, there is no need to visit any service counter.
Passengers can login to the Japan Airlines' website to get Wi-Fi ID and password to enjoy free surfing.
The company is getting good response from passengers since its launch.
"Yes. We are getting a good response. These days, many tourists from China and Taiwan visit Japan and we are getting good response from them. The local media contacted to our branch office in Taiwan about the service and found that the number of access to the service is steadily increasing," said Takafumi Maruyama, Overseas e-Commerce and Marketing Web Sales Dept, Japan Airlines Co. Ltd.
Foreign tourists are thrilled about the easy access to Wi-Fi at the airport.
"I think it's a really good service and I hope it will continue. And next time I definitely do that because especially in Japan you need the Wi-Fi all the time to meet people at the location. So it's really important," said a tourist from France.
Tourists can also enjoy other facilities at airport and railway stations including temporary storage of their luggage.
At Tokyo Station, which is also the terminal of Shinkansen bullet train, Sagawa Express provides temporary storage and same-day delivery of luggage to the hotel.
These tourists from Italy take advantage of the service.
"It's the first time we are here. So we try to discover all the traditional Japan. And now we want to discover more traditional place like Kyoto and Nara. But we have still 3 hours (to get on Shinkansen). So we want to visit imperial garden. It's just in front of here. That's all. Good-bye. Ciao!," said a tourist from Italy.
Sagawa Express has a storeroom at the station safely keep passengers' luggage and also deliver it to prominent hotels in Tokyo.
"Japan is known for its hospitality. We deliver the luggage safely and want more people to take use of our service. We look forward to your visit," said Manami Hagino, Sagawa Express Co., Ltd.
