Kathmandu, Aug 4 : Nepal's Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi here Monday.

The UCPN-M is the main opposition in Nepal's Constituent Assembly, and its support is vital for framing a new constitution.

Earlier, Modi discussed bilateral ties with Nepal's President Ram Baran Yadav. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and senior officials from India and Nepal were present at the 15-minute meeting.
