Northern Irish Professional golfer Rory McIIroy decides not to settle on the somewhat monumental victory after attaining the status of one of the best golf players with his wire-to-wire victory at the British Open.

Mcllroy now aims to win a maiden World Golf Championships crown at this week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, reports News24.

Mcllroy said in a statement that he had had time to reflect after the British Open and decided to move forward.

He also said that there were many big tournaments coming up and that he would not settle on his win at the British Open.

Mcllroy has already won two major trophies at the 2011 U.S. Open and the 2012 PGA Championship.
