Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Atul Anjan on Sunday said that launching web portals or tweeting is not going to bring any change in governance.

"The prevalent inflation is affecting whole country. Prices of all things, which are needed, have increased. I think the Modi government is just robbing people off. The PM should know that launching web portals or tweeting things would not make a difference or bring any kind of change," said Anjan.

The prices of onion s and tomatoes have soared to around Rs 50 per kilo leaving the consumers in the city exasperated.

Decline in supply of vegetables have resulted in the increase in their prices.

Yesterday, Modi today launched a web portal named 'MyGov', a platform to empower the citizens of India to contribute towards Surajya.

Speaking on the occasion, which also marked the completion of sixty days of the new government, the Prime Minister said the success of democracy is impossible without participation of the people.
