India votes in favour of resolution on Israel's Gaza offensive
India has voted in favour of a Human Rights Council resolution to launch a probe into Israel's offensive on Gaza.
India, along with its BRICS counterparts voted in favour of the resolution drafted by Palestine on "Ensuring Respect for international law in The Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jersusalem".
In all, 29 countries out of the total 47 members voted in favour and United States being the only country to oppose the resolution. 17 countries abstained from voting on the resolution.
