Lily Allen admits album flopped because of 'bad music'
Lily Allen has admitted that her album flopped because of her and music wasn't good enough.
The Brit singer's 'Hard Out Here' sneaked into the top 10 at No.9 and the poppier follow-up 'Air Balloon' getting to No.7 in March, but her third song 'Sheezus' didn't even make the top 40 on the charts, the Mirror reported.
The 29-year-old singer said she thought that her song 'Hard Out Here' did really well and then management and the label chose to go with 'Air Balloon' and starting with something really aggressive and in their face and then going in a different direction then people need to know what they were getting.
Allen asserted that she trusted other people, which she did not do usually do and she usually went with her own gut feeling but maybe she wasn't feeling as confident as she had in the past because of all the hormones.
