India beats England, registers first win at Lords in 28 years
Ishant Sharma's seven wicket helped India register its first victory over England in 28 years at the Lords.
This is India's first overseas win since 2011 and England's 10th Test loss under the captaincy of Alastair Cook.
Sharma claimed his career best figures of 7-74 in the match.
Resuming the game after the lunch, England lost Matt Prior for 12 runs after he hooked Sharma to Vijay at deep mid-wicket. Soon after, Joe Root and Ben Stokes fell in the same over of Sharma.
Sharma's seventh victim, Stuart Broad, was caught down the legside by Dhoni. James Anderson was later run out by Ravindra Jadeja to complete the Indian victory.
The third test will be played between the two sides on July 27 in Southampton.
