15 Gujarati workers stranded in Iraq, return home
After several days of trauma, 15 workers from Gujarat, who were stranded in strife-torn Iraq, have arrived home safely today.
The workers belong to Chikhli town of Navsari district. Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel had yesterday directed the state administration to arrange transportation for these 15 Gujaratis, who returned from Iraq.
The Chief Minister directed the state administration to ensure all facilities to send these youths to their native town.
They were working with a construction firm al-Rawabi in Kirkuk.
They were received by senior officials of Gujarat Bhawan at the Delhi International Airport earlier yesterday.
