Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishor Yadav today became the 18th president of Olympian Surjit Singh Hockey Society.


A meeting of the working committee of the society to appoint Yadav as the president of the society was chaired by Pargat Singh, former Hockey India captain and SAD MLA from Jalandhar Cantonment.

Yadav, after being appointed as the president of the society, said that he would do everything to promote hockey and further the activities of society.

He asked the members of the society to take the hockey at the grass root level so that the game could recollect its lost fame.
