Nagaland BJP held its office bearers meeting at Dimapur and thoroughly deliberated on the various issues regarding party and appointed some of the members to look into lapses of various state and Central government Departments to deliver services to public.


In a release, party's state unit general secretary and Spokesperson K James Vizo, today said, in order to identify the anomalies and lapses in the various central and state departments, the party has entrusted the party state officials with the assignments to Sankathung Jami, Vice-President into public grievances from Border Road Organisation in Nagaland.

Other state officials are Secretary Imsii Yaden to look into Airport Authority of India, Dimapur, Vice-President C Manpon Doordarshan Kendra of Kohima, vice president Yangose Sangtam PWD, secretary Avi Zeliang lapses in Railways in Dimapur and secretary Jaansillung Gongmei lapses of BSNL Nagaland in providing public services.

The state BJP president, Dr M Chuba Ao, has directed all above concerned officials to collect the necessary information and report the same in written with remedial suggestions to the head office Dimapur on or before July 25.

The yesterday's meeting also decided that in order to strengthen the DAN-III and to deliver good governance with better co-ordination between the State and Central Governments, the party resolved to set-up various committees shortly in phase manner.

The party will fully support the DAN-III led by the Chief Minister T R Zeliang.

State BJP is committed is to pre-poll alliance arrangement entered in 2013 and the party reiterates its earlier stand 'expects for equity and confidence on each other.'

For the By-Election of Northern Angami-2 Assembly Constituency (A/C) under Kohima district, the party is working out and it will be made known only after the Official Election notification is declared.

Meanwhile, few applicants have already sent their application to the party office. The state president has deputed K James Vizo as the Election In-charge for the said A/C.

Shortly, state and district election committees will also be constituted for better co-ordination, the release said.
