YSR Congress Party leaders G Srikanth Reddy, David Raj, K Sridhar Reddy and R Prasad Reddy today criticised Treasury benches for interrupting 17 times, the speech of their leader and Opposition Leader in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Talking at AP Media Point here, the leaders alleged that Speaker K Sivaprasada Rao acted in a partisan manner by throttling the voice of Opposition leader.

It is totally undemocratic and against the customs of Assembly procedures to prevent Mr Jagan's voice as many as 17 times, they charged.

They flayed that the TDP Government is indulging in targeting the opposition party.

At Mr Naidu's behest, Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao cut the mike when Mr Jagan Reddy was speaking in the House, they YSRCP leaders alleged.

They found fault with the Treasury benches for trying to raise development programmes and welfare schemes of the then YSR Government.
