Leader of the Opposition and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today made a fiery maiden speech in the AP Assembly, attacking the ruling TDP for not fulfiling its poll promises, particularly on farmers loan waiver, even after 15 days of assuming power.

Mr Jagan was allegedly stalled 17 times during his hour-long speech by the ruling benches in the House, which was also abruptly adjourned for the day by Speaker Kodela Shivaprasad Rao in an attempt to take steam out of his attack on the ruling party.

Mr Jagan slammed TDP for allegedly diluting its poll promises and keeping farmers on tenterhooks, even after 15 days of being in the office.

"Chandrababu, who won election on Modi wave, is waiting for good will grants from Modi goverment to fulfil poll promises," he charged.
