The officials of Border Security Force and Pak Rangers discussed security and other issues during a flag meet along the International Border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.


'The BSF officials and Pak Rangers yesterday had one-hour long meeting along the IB at forward Khora Border Outpost,' official sources here today said.

They said BSF discussed issues related to security and the border with their counterpart.

'BSF officials raised the issues of 'unwanted' movement along the border besides vegetation of 'Sarkanda' (bushes),' they said.

The BSF delegation was led by Commandant 9 Battalion Vijaypal Singh while from Pakistan side, Wing Commander of Chenab Rangers Joharuddin led the delegation.

Earlier the flag meeting was held at Chambliyal post on June 5 to discuss arrangements for an annual Chambliyal Fair.
