Tollywood director Partha Sarathi Joarder on Wednesday released the music album of his upcoming venture, 'Masoom' here.

The film stars veteran actors Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Krishnakishore Mukhopadhyay and actress Moushumi Saha in pivotal roles.

The film also stars debutant Aakash who plays the lead role, paired with Ritika.

Present at the music launch were music director Subhayu along with the singers Sanchita and Prasenjit.

The story revolves around the backdrop of a 14 year old girl who comes and settles down in the city of Kolkata along with her parents from a hill station.

In the meanwhile, she is admitted in a school where she finds a new environment with a set of new friends.

The story takes a new turn when this girl is provoked and takes a decision where a shadow of darkness surrounds her life.

"This film is based on sex education. Through this film the guardian will understand the situation that their kids go through. This film is thus a message to the audience," said Joarder.

"The shooting has been done in North Bengal and Kolkata. Few sea side shoots are also there," he added.

"I have worked with Partho da in most of his films. In this film I have worked with Subhayu. I really liked working with him. He has made the situation in the recording studio so free that it was easy for me to do my work. I have two songs in the film, one is a romantic track and the other one is a dance number," said Sanchita.

The film has been produced under the P.B Films Ltd, banner.
