Naidu to run Andhra administration from Hyderabad
Putting an end to the speculation that he would open a 'camp office' near Guntur, TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister designate N Chandrabadu Naidu today clarified he would run his administration from Hyderabad itself.
Addressing a meeting of Telangana TDP unit at NTR Bhavan here, Mr Naidu, who will take oath as Chief minister on June 8 at Guntur, said, "I won't leave Hyderabad and will run Andhra Pradesh administration from here only."
Mr Naidu had earlier indicated he would run the new state's administration from outside Hyderabad though the city would remain 'common capital' of the two states (residual AP and Telangana) for ten years.
After TDP's win, there had been a lot of speculation that Mr Naidu would shift his base to coastal region and possibly set up a temporary camp office to run the administration from there.
Meanwhile, TDP's alliance partner BJP said three Union Ministers - Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu and Nirmala Sitharaman and also 11 Chief Ministers from Non-Congress states will attend the June 8 swearing-in ceremony.
