Union small scale and medium industries minister Kalraj Mishra today expressed his concern on the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.


Flaying the Akhilesh Yadav government in the state for its failure in checking the growing crime, Mr Mishra said the commanman was feeling insecure in the present environment.

"The crime against women, specially the rape incidents, have increased massively in the state," he added.

The union minister mentioned the recent rapes and killing incidents in his parliamentary constituency Deoria and Badaun and said the rising crime was a challenge for all.

Mr Mishra said he has directed the senior administrative and police officials to take immediate steps in this direction.

The state government has proved to be a failure on all the fronts and hence, should resign on moral grounds, he added.
