Shiv Sena chief demands CBI probe in Munde's accidental death
Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray today said a CBI inquiry should be conducted into Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde's accidental death as demanded by his supporters.
'The sentiments of the (party) workers should be respected,' Mr Thackeray, who was present at Munde's funeral at Parali this afternoon, said.
Mr Thackeray's remarks came after RPI(A) chief Ramdas Athawale, hose party is a constituent of the 'Mahayuti' alliance, also demanded that a CBI inquiry be conducted to rule out any sabotage in the accident.
