Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff bagged three wickets on his return to his former British club side St Annes almost five years after he retired due to injury.

Flintoff managed to get figures of 3-26 in 12 overs, including five maiden overs in the match while playing for St. Annes and thus helped dismiss their rival club Penrith in their Northern League clash for 132.

However, Flintoff, who has re-signed for Lancashire to play in this summer's T20 Blast, scored only two runs when he took to batting as St Annes went on to win the match by two wickets, the BBC reported.

After the match, the former England skipper tweeted that he was loving his day, 12 overs and had great fun, adding that he had a bit of help from the wicketkeeper for his first wicket, but is still unsure that it carried.
