Former England international John Emburey has reportedly undergone a surgery after he was diagnosed with skin cancer.

According to Sport24, Emburey, who took 147 wickets in 64 tests, said that his condition is not in the most aggressive form or life-threatening and could be eliminated through surgery.

The 61-year-old said that being exposed to the sun while playing cricket might have contributed to him getting cancer, as he played cricket for so many years, and did not use to wear a hat and also not wearing sun cream.
