'A Million Ways to Die in the West', a western comedy from the makers of the runaway hit 'Ted' is set to hit Indian theatres this summer.

Universal Pictures India revealed that the film will see multi-faceted Seth MacFarlane don the director's hat once again after 2012 hit-comedy 'Ted', as he stars alongside Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Neil Patrick Harris and Liam Neeson.

The film, which is an adaptation of MacFarlane's novel by the same name, is set in 19th century Arizona and is the hysterical narrative of a sheep farmer played by MacFarlane, whose lack of courage results in his withdrawal from a gunfight, thus losing his beloved girlfriend, played by Seyfried.

The film will hit theatres across India on June 13, 2014.
