Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi will attend the ceremony of oath taking of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister in New Delhi tomorrow.


Official sources said here today that Mr Manjhi had decided to attend oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister in New Delhi tomorrow. He well leave for New Delhi tomorrow morning to attend the function which his scheduled for evening at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Mr Manjhi had congratulated Mr Modi after he was elected leader of the NDA and was invited by President Pranab Mukherjee to form the government.Similarly, former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also congratulated Mr Modi on being invited to form the government at the Centre.

Earlier, Mr Manjhi appeared reluctant to attend the function as he had told media persons yesterday that decision to attend the oath taking ceremony of Mr Modi. had not been taken by him as yet.

It maye be recalled here that the then Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had snapped the alliance of his party JD(U) with BJP in June last year when the latter announced for Mr Narendra Modi as its candidate for the top post of the country in Lok Sabha elections.
