26/11 martyrs families should have been invited by Modi: Congress
Senior Congress leader and former Maharastra Home Minister Kripa Shanker Singh today said the new BJP government at the Centre has started showing its double character by inviting Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaj Sharif for the oath ceremony.
"The party always accused the Congress of not taking any action against Pakistan for beheading Indian soldiers Sudkhar and Hemraj, but now they themselves are trying to appease them," he said.
Talking to mediapersons,Mr Singh appreciated the invitation given by BJP to the Pakistan premier to attend the oath ceremony tomorrow but he said it would have been better if the family of the martyrs of Mumbai attack were also invited for the occasion.
"It would have been better if the family members of Hemant Karkre,Vijay Salaskar, Ashok Tukaram and others were invited for the oath ceremony along the family members of Sudhakar and Hemraj," he said.
The Mumbai Congress leader said it is now up to the people to judge the reverse role of the BJP and RSS.
