Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West BEngal and Sikkim, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. At isolated places in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir,Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.


Mainly dry weather will prevail in Jharakhand, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada,coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha,Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Telanagana, Rayalaseema and of south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Odisha, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and of coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Haryana, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and of Kerala. They were appreciably below in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and of Jammu and Kashmir and were below normal in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 46.8 deg C has been recorded at Rentachintala (coastal Andhra Pradesh) in the plains of the country.
