Hugh Hefner sues blog over using Kate Moss' Playboy pictures without consent
Hugh Hefner has sued culture blog Black Book for recreating images from Kate Moss' Playboy spread without the model's consent, and has demanded 150,000 dollars for each "infringed work", according to reports.
The law suit said filed in Manhattan federal court said that Manhattan-based blog operator McCarthy LCC's use of the photos was for "commercial" purposes, since it posted ads on the website, the New York Post reported.
The suit comes four months after Playboy sued publishing giant Hearst, where it claimed that their Harper's Bazaar website reproduced some of Moss' photos without permission.
