Rahul to interact with Chhattisgarh Congress cadres
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will Wednesday directly interact with party office-bearers and elected representatives of panchayat and urban bodies in Chhattisgarh's Raipur.
He will also discuss with them ways to strength the party in the state where the Congress is out of power for more than a decade.
Hundreds of party workers are expected to gather at the Budhapara Indoor stadium to get a chance to interact with Gandhi, who is said to have planned his Chhattisgarh trip all of a sudden.
State Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel told newsmen that Gandhi would hold direct discussions with the office-bearers to get feedback on key national issues ahead of the parliamentary polls due by May.
Such a programme was held in Bhopal, in which Gandhi exchanged views with women workers.
