Rajan Zed appointed to PAG at SMRMC

Nevada, Jan 28 : Distinguished religious statesman Rajan Zed has been appointed to Professional Advisory Group (PAG) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center (SMRMC) in Reno (Nevada).
PAG has been created to advise the administration on all aspects of the CPE Program and to ensure compliance with Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) standards; and including curriculum, program evaluations, grievances, serving as clinical resource, accreditation reviews, etc.
SMRMC is launching CPE (interfaith professional education for ministry) on February 10 as a satellite center of Stanford Hospital and Clinics of California and accredited by ACPE of Decatur (Georgia), claimed to be the only hospital in Nevada to do so.
Zed has taken-up interfaith, religion, Roma (Gypsies) and other causes all over the world.
Bestowed with "World Interfaith Leader Award", Zed is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, Senior Fellow and Religious Advisor to Foundation for Religious Diplomacy, Spiritual Advisor to National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families, etc.
Nationally recognized SMRMC, currently owned by Prime Healthcare Services and whose history goes back to 1877, is a 380-bed acute care hospital offering inpatient, outpatient and wellness services; including the region's only CyberKnife radiosurgery delivery system.
Helen Lidholm is SMRMC CEO, Marie Lubac-Neves is Director of its Spiritual Care Services and Reverend William R. Greaver III runs the CPE program.
