Vishal Bhardwaj's film resumes shooting in Kashmir

By Saleem Iqbal Qadri, Srinagar, Jan 27 : The cast and crew of Vishal Bhardwaj directed Bollywood flick 'Haider' has returned to shoot in the Kashmir valley.
Haider, which stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, has been extensively shot in Kashmir.
The story, which is the third in the trilogy of Bhardwaj's adaptation of Shakespeare's plays, revolves around Kashmir conflict.
Sharddha Kapoor and Irrfan Khan were seen shooting a sequence of the film in the Press Enclave.
The Kashmiri Police in Srinagar had thrown a cordon around the site as a large crowd gathered to witness the proceedings.
The crew landed in Srinagar on Sunday for the last leg of shooting the movie which is expected to hit the screens in India this year.
Last year on Nov 25, the cast and crew of "Haider" faced protests during their filming at University of Kashmir campus.
Students staying in the university campus came out and divested the Indian flag that was hoisted on the sets of movie, which was being shot at the Naseem Bagh area of the campus.
Earlier, Bollywood movie 'Lamhaa', starring Sanjay Dutt had faced protests in Kashmir during its filming and release.
