On the brink of stardom, Grace Kelly leaves aside her successful career as a Hollywood actress to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956.
Six years later, with her marriage hitting full crisis, famed director Alfred Hitchcock offers her the chance to return to Hollywood with a leading role in his next film Marnie.
With France threatening to annex Monaco and political turmoil erupting all around, Grace is at a crossroad: choose the life she thought she always wanted, or embrace the woman she has now become: Her Serene Highness, The Princess of Monaco.
With Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly and Tim Roth as Prince Rainier, "Grace of Monaco" " which also features Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Jeanne Balibar, Derek Jacobi and Paz Vega, who plays Maria Callas " ensures a glitzy opening to Cannes!
