Central Railway will operate mega block
Central Railway (CR) operate will operate mega block tomorrow and Western Railway (WR) were night block on its suburban section for carrying out maintenance work.
The CR sources said here today that Dn slow line services leaving Byculla from 1104 hrs to 1521 hrs will be diverted on Dn fast line between Byculla and Vidyavihar stations, halting at Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further will be re-diverted on Dn slow line proper.
Up fast line services leaving Thane from 1121 hrs to 1525 hrs will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Dn Fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 1115 hrs to 1451 hrs will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. There will be no block on harbour line.
Following this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. The WR will operate night block from 2355 hours today to 0425 hours tomorrow between Santacruz and Mumbai Central, the sources added.
