Libero Sports celebrated the 3rd anniversary of its Indian operations at its head office here, with over 75 people representing a number of organizations across Indian football.


The theme of the anniversary function, 'Celebrating 3 Years of Growth' reflected the growth of Libero Sports within the context of the larger Indian football industry's growth over the past few years.

Edward Rock, Partner, Libero Sports LLC kicked off the celebrations while reflecting on the progress that it's Indian arm had been able to make since commencing the company's foray into the Asian market in 2010.

Libero Sports has made great strides since launching its Indian operations in 2011.

Libero Sports' first move within the Indian market was to sign the rights of star Indian National Team striker Robin Singh.

Since then, the India's first football consultancy went on to represent 50 players currently playing in the I-League and secured placement for five coaches, including India's first UEFA Pro Licensed coaches, Dutchmen Eelco Schattorie at Prayag United SC and Mike Snoei at Pune FC.

Robin Singh attended the event along with his family and interacted with the gathering.

Starting as Management Consultants for Sesa Football Academy in 2011, Libero has gone on to guide and manage football investments for 20 different clients representing international and domestic clubs, multinational companies, educational institutions, industry bodies, media agencies and NGOs.



High profile projects include facilitating landmark partnerships for FC Barcelona and Liverpool Football Club to establish themselves in the country through long term partnerships with Conscient Football and DSK Group respectively.

As exclusive marketing partners in India for the largest global football convention, Soccerex, Libero Sports has twice led delegations of 30 key influencers from India to attend the Soccerex European Forum in Manchester, to network and learn best practices.

During the occasion, I-League CEO Sunando Dhar commented, " I'm extremely proud of Libero Sports' growth over the past 3 years. On the occasion, Libero Sports Managing Director for India, Sukhvinder Singh, shared his excitement and revealed some future plans for the organization he has guided from concept to reality, "This is a great day for our partners and our team at Libero Sports in India. The past 3 years have been extraordinary and we are truly grateful for the support of our friends, family and everyone in the industry who have been a part of this wonderful journey."

Singh added, "As we look at the next 24 months we will certainly plan to grow our roster of players and expand our consulting services into the rest of Asia. We look forward to our continued growth along with the growth of football in the continent."
