The South Eastern Railway Women's Welfare Organisation (SERWWO) today organised a programme to felicitate 31 Group "D" Railway employees, who have been working under adverse conditions to ensure safety of trains.

Vinay Kumari Devi, President, SERWWO felicitated the 31 employees of Group "D" category with cash awards and Merit Certificates in recognition of their dedication and hard work at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach this morning.

The employees have been selected from four divisions including Headquarters of S E Railway from the category of Gangman, Trolleyman, Gateman, OHE Khalasis, Signal Maintenance and others.

The nature of work of these categories of employees is painstaking and laborious and they are devoted to work round the clock against scorching heat, stormy weather and other adverse circumstances.
