SK Bikes launches Gang brand bicycles in AP
Ludhiana-based S K Bikes Private Limited, the bicycle manufacturing company today launched its new range of Gang Bicycles in Andhra Pradesh market.
Addressing the dealers meet here, S K Bikes Executive Director Sachin Lakra and Director Marketing Rajesh Kapoor said his new range of bicycles priced between Rs 2500 to 8,000 will be available in the state through their sole distributors for Andhra Pradesh Rajanik Cycle Agencies.
They said the company will start a new manufacturing unit at Ludhiana in Punjab in next two years with a capacity to manufacture 20 lakh cycles per annum from the present capacity of 9 lakh pieces per year.
The new state-of-the-art plant will be well equipped to cater to the rising needs of domestic market, Sub-continent and European markets, they informed.
"We have pan India presence. Out of total production of 9 lakh bikes majority of them are sold in domestic market. A very limited production sold in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and other countries," Company General Manager Mr Kush Bansal said.
He said the company has come up with retail division in the name of S K Mart (P) Ltd, whereas they have plans to open exclusive bicycle stores all over the country. The company will open 20-25 stores during this financial year and will be increased upto 200 next during three to four years period, he added.
