4 more accused in Shil building collapse case released on bail
The Bombay High Court today granted bail to four more accused in the Shil Daighar building collapse case of last year.
The court granted bail to Deepak Chavan, Babasaheb Andale, Ramesh Inamdar and Kisan Madke, all employees of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). With this, total 11 persons are on bail now.
Police had arrested 24 accused in the case. Of them, 13 accused, including the builders, are still lodged in jail while three are still at large.
On April 4, last year, the eight-storeyed under construction building collapsed, in which 74 lives were lost.
