Majoritarian extremism is on rise in country : Dal Khalsa
Dal Khalsa has said the majoritarian extremism is on rise in the country with BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as its face.
Holding Mr Modi responsible for the massacre of Muslims and barbaric victimisation of Sikh farmers in Gujarat, party head Harchranjit Singh Dhami, in a statement here today, said, "Modi's candidature is in total contrast to India's claim of being a democratic and a secular country."
Mr Dhami said by invoking Lord Ram to woo Hindu votes, Mr Modi has made Election Commission (EC) look spineless and toothless organ of the Indian state.
"Since Mr Modi is riding on the wave of majority extremism, EC won't be able to take action against him, that's foregone conclusion", he claimed.
According to the statement, Mr Modi has a dreadful approach, Rahul Gandhi as childish whereas Arvind Kejriwal as deceitful.
Mr Dhami said for minorities and struggling communities who occupies the chair and who reaches the parliament is not a concern, their main concern was to protect and safeguard their lives.
He also condemned the attack on Kashmiri students in Noida and called upon the struggling communities and minorities to join hands against the rise of majority extremism.
