The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) strongly condemned the twin bomb blasts in Bangalore-Guwahati express train at Chennai Central Railway Station, today.


In a statement here, Era Meyappan, State President, Tamil Nadu north VHP requested the Central and state governments to be more vigilant to prevent such recurring in the future.

"We request the law enforcing agencies to deal with the matter swiftly and book the culprits at the earliest," he said and added that people of the country should be cautious.

Mr Meyappan expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and praed for the speedy recovery of the injured people.

"Let us bring a strong Central government with backbone, which can make the country strong and violence-free," he added.
