Balasaheb Thorat hoists Tricolor in Aurangabad
The Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Aurangabad district Guardian Minister Balasaheb Thorat hoisted the national tricolour on the occasion of the 54th Maharashtra state foundation day and Labour day at the main official function at the Deogiri ground of Police Headquarters here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thorat said, the Maharashtra has already achieved success in sectors like education, industry, cooperative and agriculture.
On this occasion, the teams, including police force, student National Cadet Corps, Bharat Battalion Force, and Scout Guide participated in the ground parade.
Assistant Commandant Kisan Metkar, Nanasaheb Mishal and Dhudad Talathi S B Savade were also felicitated at the hand of Mr Thorat for their excellent work in their services.
Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire, City mayor Kala Oza, MLAs Dr Kalyan Kale, Pradeep Jaiswal, Sanjay Shirsat, MLCs M M Shaikh, Subash Zamabd, ZP president Sharada Jarwal, Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal, District collector Vikram Kumar, AMC Commissioner Harshadeep Kamble, ZP ceo Dipak Choudari, City Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh, a large number of senior citizens, freedom fighters and industrialists were among those present at the function who were greeted by Mr Thorat.
Reports reaching here from the rest of the district of Marathwada regions state that the flag hoisting functions were also held all over the district headquarters of region by the respective guardian ministers.
