Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced that its total sales, including exports fell 20.3 per cent to 8,328 units in April 2014.


The auto maker had sold 10,456 vehicles in April 2013. In domestic market, TKM sold 7,562 units during the month under review as compared to 9,007 units in April last year.

''We resumed normal production on 22nd April and were carrying out limited operations until then. We thank our customers for their support and understanding during this difficult time. It is our endeavor to make the deliveries of vehicles on a timely basis,'' TKM Director and Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) N Raja said.

The company exported 766 units of Etios series last month, It said in a release.
