Leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly Shankersinh Vaghela today expressed confidence that the Congress will get more seats than the ruling BJP in the state, which has 26 Lok Sabha seats, where polling is being held.

Talking to mediapersons soon after casting his vote here, Mr Vaghela alleged that the BJP has violated the spirit of the Constitution by declaring its Prime Ministerial candidate in advance.

He said the BJP stoop to the lowest level during the campaigning for the election this time.

'The BJP leaders failed to maintain the dignity of language in their speeches,' Mr Vaghela alleged.

He said the people of the country were cultured and they understand everything.

He expressed hope that UPA-III government would be formed at the Centre after the elections.

Mr Vaghela is contesting from Sabarkantha Lok Sabha constituency.
