TTD releases details of darshan for locals
The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has released details of tokens to be issued and darshan slots from May to July this year for the convenience of the locals falling in the limits of Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tiruchanoor Gram Panchayat and Tirumala.
TTD has recently taken a decision to issue 4500 tokens to the locals of Tirupati Municipal Corporation and Tiruchanoor Gram Panchayat and remaining 500 tokens for Tirumala residents which began from the month of April, a TTD release said here today.
For the month of May, the tokens will be issued on first Sunday falling on May 4 and Darshan will be provided on first Tuesday which falls on May 6, while tokens will be issued on June 1 and darshan will be on June 3 and in the month of July, tokens will be issued on July 6 while darshan to the locals will be provided on July 8.
Meanwhile, the issuance of tokens will be on first-cum-first-serve basis only on free of cost.
The tokens for denizens falling in the limits of Tirupati Municipal Corporation and Tiruchanoor Gram Panchayat will be provided at the e-Darshan counters in Mahati Auditorium from 0800 hours on the specified dates and while for the locals of Tirumala, the tokens will be issued in e-Darshan counters at CRO.
The residents should bring their Aadhar card or other original proof for getting darshan tokens as well for having darshan on their specified dates and time slots, the release said.
