BJP today said that its government in Rajasthan would probe the land deals, allegedly linked to Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, after the end of the ongoing Lok Sabha polls since the Model Code of Conduct has been enforced at present.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman said, ''BJP wishes to be clear on the matter of Robert Vadra.

''Every corruption related case will be investigated in Rajasthan, that includes the alleged land deal by Mr Vadra, but only after the Model Code of Conduct is lifted.

''It is not a vendetta politics, but an electoral issue of the Vasaundhara Raje government,'' Ms Sitharaman said.

Probe of all alleged cases of corruption during the Ashok Gehlot government was the main electoral promise of Ms Raje and she will keep her promise, the BJP spokesperson added.

She alleged that there was a Congress-led government in Haryana and Rajasthan, when land deals by Mr Vadra were done.
