Priyanka hits back at BJP, says the latter ' acting like rats'
Congress president, Sonia Gandhi's daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday hit back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that the latter was scared and hence acted like rats spreading lies before the elections.
"They are scared and acting like panicky rats. I know that just few days before elections they will say all sorts of lies. There is nothing new in it. They can do anything they want," Priyanka said.
"I am not scared of them or anyone. I will continue speaking against their disastrous and shameful politics. I am not going stay silent," Priyanka added.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, released a video showing the alleged Vadra-Gandhi family scams during a press conference held at BJP headquarters. The party also released a booklet titled 'Damad Shree' on land deals by Robert Vadra.
"Why did he not purchase any land in non-Congress governments states. We can definitely say that the two chief ministers of Haryana and previous Rajasthan Governments were keen to bend all the rules in order protect their chair this is what Robert Vadra model which I discussed in my press conference in Lucknow. We are not targeting a family, this relates to corruption. The Robert Vadra scam is a textbook case of corruption," BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad alleged while talking to the media persons in a press conference.
BJP's sharpest attack on Gandhi family came on the day when Priyanka took a dig at Narendra Modi, saying a 56-inch chest is not needed to run the country but a "big heart" and "moral strength" was the need of the hour.
"A 56-inch chest is not needed to run this country, a big heart is needed to run it. To run this country cruel force of power is not needed, but moral strength is needed. It needs an internal strength," Priyanka said while addressing a meeting in Rae Bareli.
