Andhra Pradesh Govt trying for free stay at Makkah during Haj: Syed Omer Jaleel
Andhra Pradesh Minorities Special Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel today said that the state government is trying to sort out the issue on Nizam rubat in Makkah Mukarrama for free stay of Haj pilgrims of the state during Haj.
Speaking on the occasion of selection of Khadimul hujjaj here, Mr Jaleel said that he is writing a letter to the CEO Haj Committee of India, Mumbai in this regard.
He said that he is trying to settle the dispute between the Nizam's Wakf committee and the Nazir (supervisor) of the Rubat in Makkah, IKSA.
In this connection he held a meeting this morning with the representative of the Nizam Wakf Committee to obtain the information about the status of the Rubat.
It was informed that the Trustee of the Rubat Nawab Mukarram Jah has given GPA to the Nizams Wakf Committee.
The exectuve Officer of the state Haj Committee Mohammed Abdul Hameed is carrying the letter personally to Mumbai, where a specail meeting will be held on Monday.
Apart from the CEO of Haj Committee of India, Consul General India in Jeddah will also participate in the meeting.
The government is making efforts to settle the issue before May 10, so that the Haj pilgrims may get free accommodation during Haj and the Rubaat should not go unutilised like last year.
He congratulated the selected khadim-ul hujjaj and advised them to hard work sincerely.
