Police register case against trader, son for cheating
Juna Rajwada police today registered a case against Karnataka based trader and his son for cheating Rs 11 lakh and Eighty Thousand from a hotel owner.
According to police, complainant Santosh Shamrao Karve, resident near Joytiba Mandar of the City, a hotel owner, easily identified with consumers, who frequently came in his hotel, identified the accused as Deelip Krushnrao Kulkarni and his son Pradeep, resident at Gadag in Karnataka State.
The hotel owner had decided to start a business of book publishing and sold to Kulkarni and his son. Then Kulkarni told Karve that he had received a big order of book publishing and took Rs 11 lakh and Eight Thousand from him through a agreement. After the agreement expired, Kulkarni could not give the amount and threatened to kill Mr Karve for his persistent demands of amount.
Then Karve registered a cheating complaint against Kulkarni and his son. Police was investigating further into the case but not not arrested any one so far.
