Protecting people's interests, asserts Mamata
Greeting people on the eve of Republic Day, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Saturday asserted her government's commitment to protect the interests of the common people and the deprived sections of society.
"It is our firm commitment to protect the interests of the common people and the deprived sections of society. We are for all religions, caste, creed and communities. Let's all stay united," Banerjee said on Facebook, saluting the selfless struggle and sacrifice of all freedom fighters.
"We have always placed people above everything else. Our plans, programmes, policies and priorities are always people-centric," she added.
