Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) today seized ten kg gold worth about Rs three crore from Khambhalia in Dwarka district of the state.


Superintendent of police Jagdish Patel said the gold was recovered during a raid conducted on the basis of information provided by accused arrested in connection with recovery of 47 kg gold in Surendranagar district earlier.

Raids are likely to be conducted at other places also in connection with the matter.

During the month of April, the DRI and other agencies have recovered about 82 kg gold in the state.
