Vishrambag police have booked eleven people including Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) district president for misappropriation of funds.


According to Vishrambag police, district court judge has ordered to police, on a complaint by one Maheshkumar Kamble of Miraj, to register complaints of deceiving and misappropriation of Sangli Disrict Central Co-operative Bank (SDCC).

Mr Vilasrao Shinde, then President of SDCC, with confederated with Mr Naikwadi, had sanctioned Rs 28 Lakh and 62 Thousand loans to a Azad Education Institution with took security of lands, which was not actually of institution.

Mr Kamble registered a complaint in district court that Mr Shinde and others had sanctioned loans with wrong method, misleading of the bank and misappropriated such a huge amount and demanded to take stern action against these people.

The district Court has ordered today to register cases of misappropriation and misleading the District Bank against total eleven peoples and began investigation against them immediately.

Vishrambag police registered complaints against eleven persons under criminal laws 405,406,409,418,419,420 and 34.

Alongwith, Mr Shinde and Mr Naikwadi, Iliyas Naikwadi, President of Azad Education Institution, Iklas Iliyas Naikwad, Imran Naikwadi, Itram Naikwadi, Imam Naikwadi and Ms Rubera Golandaj, all members of the institution, working director, deputy manger and branch manager of Market Yard branch of SDCC.
