Congress candidate from Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat Ajay Kumar Dubey today charged the former MPs with betraying people of this area.

Addressing a news conference here, Mr Dubey said that people are still facing lack of basic facilities like water and electricity besides problems like migration and unemployment. 'People voted in the favour of P N Singh of BJP in last elections, but he is yet to give account of his five year tenure's achievements,' he said, adding that Mr Singh has done nothing for this area.

'All BJP leaders are chanting 'Namo' but will he come to Dhanbad for development of the area,' he questioned.

He said, people are agitated with the sitting MP and are in favour of the UPA.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Animal Husbandry Minister Mannam Mallik, who was also present on the occasion, said Mr Modi will not reach the chair of Prime Minister.

'Mr Modi will remain PM in waiting,' he quipped. The conctitution will go to poll on April 24.
