Several train services on the Konkan Railway route were cancelled, diverted and some were short terminated following the derailment of good trains today between Sangameshwar and Ukshi section in Ratnagiri region.


Konkan Railway (KR) sources said here at around 0815 hours a goods train was derailed, following which 10104 MAO-CSTM 'Mandovi'Express, 12619 /12620 LTT-MAQ 'Matsygandha' Express, 10112 MAO-CSTM 'Konkan Kanya' Express, 16346 TVC-LTT 'Netravati' Express, 10103 CSTM-MAO 'Mandovi' Express, 12617 ERS-NZM 'Mangala' Express, 12618 NZM- ERS 'Mangala' Express and 12484 ASR-KCVL with 19261 KCVL-PBR were cancelled.

The trains that were partially cancelled included 50105/50106 Diva-SWV Passenger and 12051/12052 DR-MAO 'Janshatabdi' Express.

Several trains that were short terminated included 50105 Diva-SWV Passenger at Chipuln, 50106 SWV-Diva Passenger at Kudal, 01004 SWV-DR Summer Special at Advi and 50103 DR-RN at Sangmeshwar.

While, among the Down trains that were diverted included 16345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-TVC 'Netravati' Express, 12432 NZM-TVC 'Rajdhani' Express, 12201 LTT-KCVL 'Garib Rath' Express and 12133 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Main-MAJN Express.

Among the Up trains that were diverted included 12224 ERS-LTT 'AC Duranto' Express, 12977 ERS-AII 'Marusagar' Express, 12134 MAJN-CSTM Express, 22114 KCVL-LTT Express, 19577 TEN-HAPA Express and 12217 KCVL-CDG 'Kerala Sampark Kranti' Express.
