Kejriwal holds road show at Banga, pays floral tributes to
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal today held a road show in Banga.
He addressed the people gathered on the roadsides on Banga-Khatkar Kalan road from the public address system fitted atop his vehicle.
His cavalcade of five vehicles passed through Banga to reach Khatkar Kalan within ten minutes. He stopped his cavalcade in front of Shaihd-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Memorial and paid floral tributes to great martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.
During his one to two minutes address to the public, Mr Kejriwal accused SAD-BJP nexus, the mother of all evils saying that the state government had made the life of general public miserable by imposing heavy dose of taxes and plundering natural resources and boosting Corruption.
Jalandhar party candidate Jyoti Mann met Mr Kejriwal at Banga where he held a little time road show up to Khatkar Kalan, the birthplace of Bhagat Singh..
Mr Kejriwal left Kahtkar Kalan soon after paying homage to the great martyrs.
Mr Kejriwal did not hold any road show in Jalandhar. His cavalcade passed through the PAP chowk without any halt. He stopped his vehicle on Jalandhar-Phagwara highway near Dakoha railway crossing to meet an elderly Malaysia based NRI woman Tarsem Kaur and her son who were already known to him. Kejriwal sought her blessings and left for his next journey.
Mediapersons both from the print and electronic sides had a tough time to stand on their toe waiting for Kejriwal for hours together from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs only to seek some exclusive shots and story to flash and telecast but were disappointed. The media was chasing Kejriwal as soon his five vehicle cavalcade entered from the Pathankot by-pass.
