The Western Railway (WR) has decided to provide additional coaches in three trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season.


A WR (Ratlam Division) spokesperson said an additional sleeper coach has been attached to the 12961-12962 Indore-Mumbai Avantika Express from April 10. Following the addition, the train will continue to run with 23 coaches - including 12 sleeper coaches - till July 1.

Likewise, one III air-conditioned (AC) and a second class sleeper coach have been added in the 19165-66 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express from April 11 to June 29 (on nominated days) from Ahmedabad and from April 14 to July 2 (on nominated days) from Darbhanga.

Similarly, One III AC and one second class sleeper coaches have been added in the 19167-68 Ahmedabad-Varanasi Express from April 10 to June 30 (on nominated days) from Ahmedabad and from April 13 to July 3 (on nominated days) from Varanasi.

A III AC coach is being permanently added to the 19665-66 Udaipur Khajuraho Express in place of a temporary Ist-cum-IInd AC coach from June 4 from Udaipur and from June 6 from Khajuraho.
